You Are Caving In ( doing what others want even though you don't want to ... )

"You Are Caving In"



You "cave in" when you do what others want even though you don't want to.

Example: "The kids wanted to stay up late, and I caved in. Now I can't get them to bed."



If you don't want to do something, but others force you to do it, you cave in.

Example: "Why is it that we are always doing what she wants?" Reply: "Because you always cave in."



When you do something even though you don't want to, you cave in.

Example: "I was hungry buy you wanted to go to the movies so I caved in."



You didn't want to do it, but you gave up and did it anyway, when you "caved in".

Example: "I wanted to sell my car for $13,000. But when they offered $12,000 I caved in."



You cave in when you do what others want you to do, even though you don't want to do it.

Example: "He caved in, and took the lower offer."
